On behalf of friends and family of Vermont trumpeter Paul Brana, an annual program has been established to provide free workshops in Vermont schools; instilling an appreciation of jazz in the next generation. The program kicked off this Spring with workshops at Middlebury, Fairfield, and South Burlington schools. over the next five years, approximately 25 schools will receive free workshops as a part of this program. The topic of the workshop will be chosen by the educator in order to cater to each schools’ need.
Schools wishing to apply for a free workshop must meet the following criteria:
- Applicants must be a Vermont school
- Applicants must have a rehearsing high school level jazz group (during school or outside of school hours are both eligible)
